Marvel’s Avengers has now seen multiple new characters released for the game, all of them completely free for players.
It’s unclear when Spider-Man will now swing into Marvel’s Avengers, but it seems a late 2021/early 2022 date may be more likely. Crystal Dynamics later confirmed that Spider-Man had indeed been delayed. Spider-Man was expected to come to Marvel’s Avengers as a PlayStation-exclusive character in early 2021 however, the character was notably missing from the studio’s latest roadmap for the game.
